York Housing Association provides housing for students studying at the University of York.

York Housing Association manages a variety of different types of housing and offers different levels of support. This includes:

General needs housing for single people, couples and families.
General needs housing for people who wish to live in shared houses.
Self contained and shared student housing.

We aim to allocate affordable housing to those in the greatest need. We operate a points system and at least 50% of our vacancies are allocated to applicants nominated by local authorities. We are partners in both the York Housing List and Leeds Housing Register.

Good neighbours became good friends, as more than 150 residents joined together for a series of street parties in York to celebrate Neighbours Day.
